... .... ...... ! Just moments before oblivion, I realized i wasn´t dead! I was still breating and the old pump was still beating! While it was agonizing, I had to force myself to take a deep breath. It hurt like hell, and tasted like dust & ash, but i had to keep going. I dont remember why it hurts so much, but i had to! I keep on for what feels like an eternity (it coud have been seconds or hours, I truly do not know), just kept on taking slow breaths, just trying to keep myself from collapsing. After a moment of uncertain lenght, I decided to awake, no matter how much easier it would be just to fall back to unconciusness, maybe never to stirr again, but i guess my survival instinct forced me to keep on going. And hey, perhaps the situation outside has changed, and maybe help has already arrived. Finally, i dared to open my eyes, but all that momentary optimism is instantly shattered as all I saw was destruction The office building i worked at was practically cleaved in twain
